Keta /KAY-tah/ n. an image that inexplicably leaps back into your mind from the distant past (definition courtesy of the Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows). Keta is a work for solo alto saxophone, which employs the idea of ‘inexplicable’ interruption, as its primary structural mechanism.
